Sept. 5th Funeral Announcements:

Funeral services for a Monona woman, 87-year-old Belva Joanne Gramlich, will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Living Faith United Methodist Parish in Monona. Burial will follow at Monona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM Friday at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona. There will also be a one-hour visitation Saturday before services at the church. Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation service of Monona is helping the family with arrangements.

A Decorah woman, 93-year-old Naomi Hruska, formerly of Lawler, died Tuesday in Decorah. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may greet the family 4 to 7 PM Friday at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in New Hampton.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a Lawler woman, 71-year-old Mary Ellen Speltz will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, September 13th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Lawler, with interment at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Lawler. Friends may greet the family from 3 to 7 PM on Thursday, September 12th at the church, where there will be a 7 PM parish scripture service. Visitation continues an hour prior to the Mass on Friday at the church. Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with arrangements.

A Harpers Ferry infant died Tuesday at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. A memorial gathering for 5-day-old Jaxson James Jones will be held from 3 to 6 PM Saturday at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in McGregor, which is helping the family with the arrangements.
