Sept. 3 funeral announcements

Services for a Waukon man, 74 year old Don Denk, are Friday at 12:30pm at St. Patrick Catholic church in Waukon. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until service time Friday at the church. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling arrangements.

A celebration of life for an Oelwein man, 73 year old Paul Bowers Jr., will be 4-8pm Friday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Oran Township cemetery in rural Oelwein. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

David Misael Toj Nunez, the newborn son of Postville couple Jelfer Toj and Dirsa Nunez, died Monday. Funeral services are Friday at 11am at Iglesia Cristo Viene in Postville. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is assisting the family.
