Sept. 10 funeral announcements

A Charles City woman, 83 year old Marcille Green, died Tuesday. A private family service will be held at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City. It will be livestreamed on the funeral home's Facebook page beginning at 10:30am Saturday. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery in Nashua. A public visitation will be Friday, 5-7pm at the funeral home.

The celebration of life for a New Hampton woman, 71 year old Wanda Batchelder, has now been postponed. The event had been scheduled for Friday evening at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton. Again, the celebration has been postponed due to the Covid pandemic. A new date has not yet been set.

Services for an Independence woman, 90 year old Betty Payne, are Friday at 11am at White Funeral home in Independence. Burial in Wilson cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the funeral home.
