June 11 funeral announcements

An Aurora man, 93 year old Byron "Barney" Young, died Monday. Private family funeral services will be Saturday at Fawcett Schmitz funeral home in Winthrop. Burial in Union cemetery in rural Aurora. Public visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home.

Services for an Edgewood woman, 98 year old Velma Atkinson, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Mark Catholic church in Edgewood. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 9 to 10:15am Friday at the church.

Services for a Decorah man,, 85 year old J. Bruce Goetsch, are Friday at 11am at Decorah Lutheran church. Burial in Lutheran cemetery with military honors. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is assisting the family.

Graveside services for a rural Decorah man, 74 year old David Fossum, will be Saturday at 11am at Big Canoe cemetery in Decorah. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling the arrangements.

An Edgewood woman, 66 year old Jennifer Schuldt, died Wednesday. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Leonard Muller funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

A Lancaster, Wisconsin woman, 98 year old Anne Margaret Wagner, died Tuesday. A private family service will be held. Thornburg Grau funeral home in Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.

Services for a Waukon man, 69 year old Tom Baxter, are Monday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic church in Waukon. Burial in St. John the Baptist-West Ridge cemetery in rural Waukon. Friends may call 2-6pm Sunday at the church. Martin funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Harmony, Minnesota man, 72 year old Robert "Bob" Bakken, are Monday at 2pm at Greenfield Lutheran church in Harmony. Burial in Greenfield cemetery. Visitation is 2-5pm Sunday at Lindstrom funeral home in Harmony.
