A Coggon woman, 87 year old Betty Mae Klima, died Tuesday. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Coggon cemetery. Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester is assisting the family.

A former Nashua man, 94 year old Harry McKenzie of Denver, Colorado, died Tuesday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua.

July 14 funeral announcements

Memorial services for a Cedar Rapids woman, 83 year old Mary Ellen Vifian, are Friday at 11am at St. Mark's Methodist church in Cedar Rapids. Inurnment in Linwood cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Visitation is 9am to 10:45am Friday at the church. Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service for a Postville man, 66 year old Richard Farrington, will be held Saturday at 7pm at Postville cemetery, with military honors. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is handling arrangements.

Services for a former Sumner man, 55 year old Dan Yungtum of Dunkerton, are Monday at 10:30am at St. John Lutheran church in Sumner. Burial in the church cemetery in rural Sumner. Visitation is 2-6pm Sunday at the church, and an hour before services on Monday.

July 13 Funeral announcements

A visitation for a Fort Atkinson teen, 13 year old Lucille "Lucy" Nieman, will be held Sunday from 1pm to 6pm at Hugeback Johnson funeral home. Services are Monday at 1pm at the Waucoma Event center. A graveside service will also be held at 4:30pm Monday at Fairview cemetery.

Services for a Cresco woman, 87 year old Beverly Bakken, are Thursday at 11am at Peace Lutheran church in Ridgeway. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco, and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Decorah man, 80 year old Reverend Gary Lee, are Saturday at 11am at First Lutheran church in Decorah. It will be livestreamed on the church's You tube channel. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is assisting the family.

Memorial services for a former Decorah-area woman, (Sister) Sr. Jeanenne Weis, also know as Sr. Mary Paula Jean of San Francisco, California, will be held Saturday at 2pm at St. Benedict Catholic church in Decorah. Inurnment in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is helping the family.

Services for an Alta Vista woman, 58 year old Christine Geerts, are Wednesday at 7pm at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton. Burial at a later date. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday, before the service, at the funeral home
