Dec. 17 funeral announcements

UDPATED: Services for a Plainfield man, 80-year-old Lawrence Balsley, are Saturday at 10:30 AM at First Baptist Church in Plainfield, with interment in Willow Lawn Cemetery, also in Plainfield. For anyone unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed on the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Homes Facebook page. Friends may greet the family Friday from 4 to 7 PM at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home – Olson Chapel in Nashua. Visitation will continue Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the church.

UPDATED: A Memorial Mass for a Lawler man, 78-year-old Robert (Pat) Sheridan, will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Lawler. The mass will be live-streamed on the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Homes Facebook page. There will also be a 10 AM eulogy and family sharing. Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home of New Hampton has been entrusted with arrangements.

An Oelwein woman, 80-year-old Judith “Judy” Buckmaster, died Tuesday. Private family services and visitation will be held. Public graveside services are Sunday at 2 PM at Lima Cemetery, rural Fayette. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

Services for a Fayette woman, 88-year-old Verdine (Lau) Keding, are Tuesday at 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Fayette. The service will be live-streamed on the Becker-Milnes and Reding Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Fayette. Visitation is Tuesday at 9 AM before the services at the church.

Services for an Ossian woman, 94-year-old Marjorie S. Dehning, formerly of Decorah, are Monday at 11 AM at Decorah Lutheran Church, with burial at Canoe Gerrman Methodist Cemetery, rural Decorah. Visitation is Monday at 10 AM, one hour prior to services at the church. Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is serving the family.

A private Mass of Christian Burial for a Fort Atkinson woman, 94-year-old Alice Kacher, will be held Friday at 11 AM at St. John's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. Burial in the church cemetery. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling the arrangements.

A New Hartford woman, 73-year-old Janet Adams, died Wednesday. Memorial services are Saturday at 11 AM at New Hartford United Methodist Church. The service will be live-streamed on the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will follow the service at Beaver Grove Cemetery, rural New Hartford. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
