Aug. 5 funeral announcements

Memorial services for a New Hampton woman, 93 year old Betty Munson, are Saturday, August 14th at 1pm at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton. Inurnment at New Hampton cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the funeral home.

An Elkader man, 95 year old Boyd Rodamaker, died Wednesday. Private family services will be held at a later date. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

An Elma man, 70 year old James Acker, died Tuesday. Services are being made at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma.

Graveside Services for a New Hampton man, 78 year old Anthony "Tony" Klenske, are Sunday, August 15th at 2pm, at St. Mary's cemetery in New Hampton. Tony's wife, Lynda Rae Klenske, died January 12th, and she will be buried with Tony. The service will be available for viewing on the Conway Markham funeral home Facebook Live.

Services for an Aurora man, 93 year old Dale Buckman, are Saturday at 10:30am at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Union cemetery, Putnam Township in rural Aurora with military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday and an hour before services, at the funeral home.

Services for an Elkader woman, 78 year old Annette Reimer, are Saturday at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran church in Guttenberg. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader, and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Lawler woman, 91 year old Vera Kriener, are Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church in Lawler. Inurnment in St. Rose cemetery in rural Waucoma. Friends may call 4-7pm Monday at the church, and an hour before services. Hugeback Johnson funeral home is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Brandon man, 80 year old Samuel "Sam" Mentzer, are Friday at 11am at Brandon Methodist church. Inurnment in Brandon cemetery Saturday at 12 noon. Visitation is 5-8pm Thursday at the Reiff Family Center funeral home in Independence.

A New Hampton man, 52 year old Bradley Lehman, died Friday, July 23rd. Services will be held at a later date. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.

A Decorah woman, 75 year old Dianne Allen, died Sunday. There will be no formal services. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling arrangements.

Services for a Decorah man, 65 year old Robert Forde, are Saturday at 11am at Big Canoe Lutheran church in rural Decorah. Burial in the Iowa River cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Schluter Balik funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

An Oelwein man, 80 year old William "Bill" Tellin, died Monday. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held this fall at Bill's home. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

A Boone man, 62 year old John Tingwald, died Sunday. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2pm at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein, with military honors. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.
