Services for an Independence man, 73 year old Keith Smith, are Saturday at 11am at the Hope Wesleyan church in Independence. Burial in Cedar Memorial cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at Reiff Family Center funeral home in Independence.

Services for an Ionia woman, 60 year old Debbie Lowe, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Boniface Catholic church in Ionia. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday with a 7pm scriptural wake at the Ionia funeral home, and an hour before services Saturday.

A former Oelwein woman, 93 year old Eunice Taylor of Hiawatha, died Tuesday. A private family graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein. Public visitation is 9am to 10am Saturday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a Charles City woman, 91 year old Irene Field, are Saturday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Charles City. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church, starting with a rosary prayer at 9:15am.

Services for a West Union woman, 75 year old Catherine "Cathy" Bemiss, are Friday at 10:30am at Bethel Presbyterian church in West Union. Burial in West Union cemetery. Visitation is today, Thursday, August 19 from 4pm to 7pm at Burnham Wood Grau funeral home in West Union, and an hour before services at the church.

A former Waverly man, 43 year old Brandon Biddle of Tripoli, died Sunday. A private memorial service will be on Saturday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home.

Celebration of life services for a former Cresco woman, Carol Elwood of Cedar Rapids, are Friday at 10am at Immanuel Lutheran church in Cresco. Burial in Oak Lawn cemetery. Visitation is 5-6:30pm Thursday at Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco.

Services for a Guttenberg woman, 74 year old Pamela Voshell, are Friday at 11am at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg. Inurnment in Guttenberg City cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the funeral home.

An Oelwein woman, 66 year old June Griffith, died Monday. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. There will be a private family graveside service at the Oran Township cemetery in rural Oelwein. Jamison Schmitz funeral home is handling the arrangements.

A Calmar woman, 83 year old Darlene Elsbernd, died April 30 of last year. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Saturday (August 28) at 11am at St. Aloysius Catholic church in Calmar. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
