Services for a Protivin woman, 78 year old Doris Balik, are Friday at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic church in Protivin. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8pm Thursday at the church with a 7:30pm scripture service, and an hour before services. Balik funeral home in Spillville is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services for a rural Hudson woman, 64 year old Kathy Payne, formerly of Gilberville, are Friday at 10am at White funeral home in Jesup. Burial at a later date. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the funeral home.

A Protivin woman died Tuesday; services for 97 year old Helen Lukes are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Protivin.

Memorial services for a Colwell man, 74 year old Neal Reetz, are Friday at 2pm at First Wesleyan church in Charles City. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Hauser funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.
