Memorial services for an Oelwein man, 83 year old Clifford "Duane" Avery, are Wednesday at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Oelwein. Inurnment in Woodlawn cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 3-7pm Tuesday and 9-10:30am Wednesday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein, with a scripture service at 6:30pm Tuesday.

Services for a Harpers Ferry man, 63 year old John "Jack" Schulte, formerly of Waterloo, are Monday at 11am at St. Ann's-St. Joseph's Catholic church in Harpers Ferry. Friends may call 3-6pm Sunday at the church, with a 6pm scripture service. Martin funeral home in Waukon is handling arrangements.

Services for an Allison woman, 69 year old Kathryn Ellerman, are Saturday at 11am at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens cemetery in Charles City. Visitation is from 9am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Services for a Waukon man, 59 year old David Schoeberlein, are Monday at 11am at the Waukon High School Gymnasium. Friends may call 2-6pm Sunday at Martin funeral home in Waukon.

Services for a Decorah woman, 92 year old Agnes "Aggie" Rima, are Saturday at 1pm at St. Benedict Catholic church in Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 11am Saturday at the church. Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah is handling arrangements.

A former Clermont-area woman, 67 year old Linda Larson of Liberty, Missouri, died Wednesday; a local visitation will be held Wednesday from 10-11am at Schutte Grau funeral home in Clermont. Burial in Marion Lutheran cemetery in Gunder.

A Lansing man died Thursday; services for 79 year old Jerry Hartin are pending at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing.

Graveside services for a Denver man, 61 year old Stanley "Stan" Crawford, are Sunday, October 8 at 2pm at Harlan cemetery in Dumont. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday from 4-8pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cedar Falls. Kaiser Corson funeral home is assisting the family.

Services for a West Union man, 83 year old Robert Holm, are Tuesday at 1:30pm at Redeemer Lutheran church in West Union. Burial in West Union cemetery with military rites. Visitation is 4-7:30pm Monday at the church, and a half-hour before services. Burnham-Wood-Grau funeral home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.
