A Waterloo man, 87 year old Juan Tobar, died Wednesday; services are pending at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a Strawberry Point woman, 73 year old Janice West, are Friday at 11am at Hope Lutheran church in Littleport. Burial in Union Cemetery in Littleport. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Leonard funeral home in Elkader, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a former Monona man, 56 year old Kevin Timmerman of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, are Saturday at 10:30am at Living Faith United Methodist Parish in Monona. Burial in Smithfield cemetery in Monona. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a former Oelwein woman, 98 year old Leah Johnston of Hazleton, are Saturday at 2pm at Christ United Presbyterian church in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4-7:30pm Friday at Floral Hills Funeral home in rural Oelwein, with an Order of the Eastern Star service at 6:30pm, and an hour before services at the church.
