Memorial services for a Decorah woman, 75 year old Ruth Dignan, are Saturday at 11am at Washington Prairie Lutheran church in rural Decorah. Private family inurnment in Lutheran cemetery. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is serving the family.

A Westgate woman, 72 year old Diane Bartels, died Tuesday; friends may call 4-7pm Saturday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Maynard. Inurnment in Hope Lutheran cemetery in Mayard at a later date.

An Oelwein man, 66 year old Jackie "Jack" McQuarters, died Monday; memorial visitation services are Friday from 3-5pm at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein, with military honors.

Services for a Calmar man, 94 year old Cletus Elsbernd, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Aloysius Catholic church in Calmar. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 3-7pm Friday at Schluter Balik funeral home, French Chapel in Calmar, and an hour before services at the church.

The infant son of a Charles City family died Tuesday; services for Liam Jake Martinez, the son of Jonard and May Martinez, are Saturday at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Charles City. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation is from 9am until services at the church. Hauser funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.
