Services for a Waukon man, 84 year old Gordon Marti, are Wednesday at 11am at Old West Paint Creek Lutheran church in rural Waukon. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Tuesday at Martin funeral home in Waukon.

A former Cresco man, 22 year old Jarek Burke of Camp Lejeune, died Monday; services are pending at Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco.

Services for a Fayette man, 80 year old Verdell Schmalle, are Monday at 11:30am at United Methodist church in Fayette. Visitation is 3-6pm Sunday at Becker Milnes funeral home in Fayette, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Waukon man, 83 year old James Walsh, are Monday at 11am at First Baptist church in Waukon. Burial in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call 3-6pm Sunday at Martin funeral home in Waukon.

Services for an Oelwein man, 60 year old Gregory Fauser, are Saturday at 11am at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein. Private graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Hazleton. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial services for a Luana woman, 76 year old Helen Gettman, are Sunday, Oct. 16th at 2:30pm at the Waukon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services for a Prairie du Chien woman, 93 year old Lynn Wachter, are Thursday at 11am at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Prairie du Chien. Burial at a later date in Union Cemetery near Antigo, Wisconsin.

Services for a St. Lucas woman, 92 year old Marcella Blong, are Thursday at 11am at St. Luke Catholic church in St. Lucas. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Wednesday at the church, with a 4:45pm rosary and 7pm scripture service, and an hour before services. Burnham-Wood-Grau funeral home in West Union is helping the family.
