Services for a Winthrop man, 93 year old Ted James, are Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Patrick's Catholic church in Winthrop. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Tuesday at Fawcett funeral home in Winthrop, with a 7pm scripture service, and until 10am Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for a Charles City man, 98 year old Paul Maland, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church. Inurnment at a later date in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday at Hauser funeral home in Charles City, and an hour before services at the church.
