An Elma woman died Monday; services for 82 year old Maxine Friedrich are being made at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma.

A Nashua man died today (Tuesday); services for 73 year old Larry Carter are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua.

Services for a Monona woman, 96 year old Jean Carlson, are Saturday at 11am at St. John Lutheran church in Luana. Burial at 1:45pm at First Lutheran cemetery (Swede Ridge) in McGregor. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona and an hour before services at the church.

A Celebration of Life for a Marquette resident, 80 year old LaVern Shogren, will be Thursday, 4-7pm at Martin funeral home in Waukon.

Memorial services for a rural Rowley man, 78 year old Keith Burnell, are Saturday at 10am at White funeral home in Independence. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at the funeral home, with a miltary service at 7pm.

Services for a former Oelwein woman, 91 year old Hilda Fick of Sumner, are Thursday at 11am at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for a Janesville man, 75 year old Marlin "Ernie" Swygman, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Waverly. Burial in Greenwood cemetery in Cedar Falls. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.

A New Albin woman died Monday; services for 76 year old Sharon Weymiller are pending at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing.

A Lime Springs man, 96 year old Kenny Jones, died Saturday. Memorial services will be held July 8th of 2016 at the Lime Springs Community Center. Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco is assisting the family.
