Memorial services for a rural Elkader man, 70 year old Jon Elvers, are Friday at 11am at Peace United church of Christ in Elkader, followed by military honors. Inurnment at a later date. Visitation is 4-8pm Thursday at the church and an hour before services. Leonard funeral home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
