An Alta Vista man died Monday; services for 69 year old Gene Aschenbrenner are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

Services for a former rural Decorah man, 71 year old Larry Bentley of San Diego, California, are Saturday at 10am at Big Canoe Lutheran church in rural Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a rural Elgin man, 78 year old Neal Krieg, are Saturday at 11am at Highland Lutheran church in rural Elkader. Inurnment in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-6pm Friday at Leonard funeral home in Elkader and an hour before services at the church.

A Lamont man, 81 year old James Gilson, died Sunday; a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Fawcett funeral home is helping the family.

Services for a New Hampton resident, 97 year old Merlyn Gray, are Saturday at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran church in New Hampton. Burial in the New Hampton cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the church, and an hour before services. Conway Markham funeral home is handling arrangements.

Services for a New Hampton man, 96 year old Donald Rankin, are Saturday at 10:30am at First United Methodist church in New Hampton. Burial in Cass Townshp cemetery in Strawberry Point. Visitation is 5-7pm Friday at Conway Markham funeral home in New Hampton and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Orchard man, 85 year old Francis "Gene" Jennings, are Friday at 1pm at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Osage. Burial in the Orchard cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 4-6pm Thursday at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage.
