A Waverly man, 60 year old Clay Moser, died August 31st. A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 1-5pm at The Cooler in Shell Rock. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is handling the arrangements.

An Alta Vista man, 72 year old Dean Folkers, died Friday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

A Nashua woman, 86 year old Alice Schilling, died Friday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Nashua.

A former Charles City man, 84 year old William "Bill" Winkelman of New Hampton, died Saturday. Private family graveside services will be Wednesday at 11am at Riverside cemetery in Charles City. The service will be livestreamed on the Hugeback Johnson funeral home Facebook page.

A Finchford man, 61 year old Howard "Kookie" Brodigan, died September 7th. No services are planned. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Manchester woman, 86 year old Adorine Ann Kaiser, are Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Tuesday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, and from 9-10 Wednesday at the funeral home.

A Lansing man, 88 year old James "Jim" Olson died Saturday. Services are Wednesday at 11am at United Methodist Church in Lansing. Burial with military rites will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lansing. Visitation is Wednesday from 9-11am at the church. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home in Lansing is assisting the family with arrangements.

A private family burial for a Waukon man, 62 year old Richard Baumgartner, will be held at a later date. Martin-Grau Funeral in Waukon is assisting the family.

A Charles City woman, 94 year old Carol Chestek, died Saturday. There will be a private family graveside service with burial at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City at a later date. Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City is handling the arrangements.

A former Oelwein man, Leland Parker of Waterloo, died Wednesday. Inurnment will be place at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

A West Union man, 90 year old Lester Steffens, died Friday. A drive-in service will be held Saturday at 10:30am at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Eldorado. Attendees will remain in their cars and listen to the service on 99.5 FM. Burial with military rites will follow at the church cemetery. Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home in West Union is helping the family with arrangements.

An Oelwein woman, 71 year old Ricki Vargason, died Friday. Services are Wednesday at 10:30am at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, with burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-7pm and Wednesday one before services at the funeral home.

A Fayette man, 94 year old Kenneth Miller, died Friday. Services are Tuesday at 10am at United Methodist Church in West Union. Burial with military rites will follow at West Union Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 4-7pm at Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home in West Union.

Private services for a Waukon man, 81 year old William "Bill" Ferring, will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, also in Waukon. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

An Independence man, 88 year old John "Jack" Orr, formerly of Rowley, died Thursday. A private family service will be held today, along with a public graveside service at Rowley Cemetery at 2pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Rowley Park. White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of arrangements.

An Elma man, 83 year old Russell O'Donnell, died Sunday. Services are pending at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma.

Services for a rural Oelwein woman, 99 year old Neva "Edith" Miller, are Saturday at 1pm at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Oran Township cemetery in rural Oelwein. Visitation is 11am to 1pm Saturday at the funeral home.
