A Plainfield woman, 31-year-old Amanda Stoffregen, died at her home on Friday. Funeral services are pending with Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home - Olson Chapel in Nashua.

A public Celebration of Life will be held for an Edgewood woman, 103-year-old Goldie Lucille Hilsenbeck, formerly of Greeley, on Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM at St. Mark Catholic Church Parish Hall in Edgewood. Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Grant View Cemetery in Greeley. Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Creamatory of Edgewood is handling the arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for a Cresco man, Donald Joseph Carolan, will be held Friday at 11 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Cresco, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, also in Cresco. Visitation will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Friday beginning at 9:30 AM before the service. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Funeral services for a Charles City woman, 87-year-old Mary Lou (Tynan) Sprague will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Hauser Weishaar Funeral home in Charles City, with burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home and will continue Wednesday for one hour before the service, also at the funeral home.

A Charles City woman, 82-year-old Maxine Vetter, passed away on Friday. At her request, there will be no funeral. A private graveside service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services for a 2-year-old Preston, Minnesota, girl, Gabriella "Gabby" Lou Brown -- daughter of Matthew and Heidi (Harstad) Brown -- will be held Wednesday at 1:30 PM at Serenity Hills Pavillion in Preston, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the same location. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony, Minnesota, is handling the arrangements.

Funeral services for an Oelwein man, 75-year-old Larry Chapman, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein, with interment in Oran Township Cemetery, rural Oelwein. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a rural Oelwein man, 92-year-old Edwin "Mack" Russell will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, also in Oelwein. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 PM and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 AM at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. A Parish Scripture Service will be held Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a Monona woman, 92-year-old Rose Marie Vlazny, will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Monona. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery, also in Monona. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Monona, and also Wednesday one hour before the Mass at the church.

Memorial services for a Waukon woman, 78-year-old Ronda Thorstenson, will be held Wednesday at 1 PM at Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church in rural Waukon. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

A Postville woman, 66-year-old Cathy L. Bakke, formerly of Decorah, died Tuesday, October 1st, at Northgate Care Center in Waukon. There will be no public funeral services. A private family burial at Phelps Cemetery in Decorah will be held at a later date. Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is serving the family.

Funeral services for a Waverly woman, 83-year-old Mildred V. Bergmann, will be held today at 10:30 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church - Western Douglas, rural Plainfield. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held today one hour prior to the service at the church. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is assisting the family with arrangements.
