An Elkader man, 59 year old Daryl Baade, died Sunday. A private funeral service will be held Thursday at East Side cemetery in Elkader. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran church in Volga. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

Services for a Tripoli woman, 74 year old Donna Kuethe, are Thursday at 2pm at Grace Lutheran church in Tripoli. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Rettig funeral home in Tripoli and an hour before services at the church.

An Independence man, 58 year old Christopher "Chris" Biekert, died Friday. A private family memorial service will be held in conjunction with the funeral of his mother, Ellie Biekert, at the Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Burial in Fairview cemetery. Fawcett-Schmitz funeral home is assisting the family.

Private burial in Riverside cemetery in Shell Rock. Visitation is Tuesday, 4-7pm at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Shell Rock, and an hour before services at the church.
