Services for an Ossian woman, 97 year old Kathryn Uhlenhake, are Saturday at 11am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church in Ossian. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 9am Saturday at the church. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling the arrangements.

Services for an Independence woman, 83 year old Jeanice Shafer, are Tuesday at 10:30am at the Union Church in Quasqueton. Burial in Wilson cemetery in Independence. Visitation is 4-7pm Monday (today) at White funeral home in Independence.

Graveside services for a Charles City woman, 94 year old Lois Pittman, are Tuesday at 11am at Riverside cemetery in Charles City. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

A Festina woman, 86 year old Elaine Frana, died Saturday. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Our Lady of Seven Dolors church in Festina. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling arrangements.

A Decorah man, 55 year old Scott Sexton, died Friday. There will be no formal services. Schluter Balik funeral home is assisting the family.

Services for a Waverly man, 48 year old Jacob "Jake" Diesburg, are Tuesday at 10:30am at Trinity United Methodist church in Waverly. Burial with military honors at Horton Cemetery in Horton, Iowa. Visitation is 6-8pm Monday (today) at the church.

Services for a West union woman, 92 year old Gladys Nelson, are Saturday at 10:30am at West Clermont Lutheran church in Clermont. Burial in God's Acres cemetery in Clermont. Visitation is from 9am to 10:30am Saturday at the church. Burnham Wood Grau funeral home in West Union is assisting the family.

Burial in Wilson cemetery. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at White Funeral home in Independence, and an hour before services at the church.

A celebration of life for a Harpers Ferry woman, 65 year old Terri Palmer, will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, at Martin - Grau Funeral Home in Waukon.

Services for a Coggon woman, 77 year old Ruth Bacon, are Thursday at 11am at United Parish Church in Coggon. Burial in Coggon cemetery. Visitation is 3-8pm Wednesday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, and an hour before services at the church.

An Oelwein man, 44-year-old Tim "Papie" Reisner, died Monday. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM Monday at Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein.

Services for a Waverly woman, 83-year-old Gleora "Glee" Ball, are Tuesday at 11 AM at St. John's United Church of Christ -Siegel, rural Waverly, with burial at Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville. Visitation is Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM at the church.

A Calmar man, 70-year-old Lee Palas, formerly of Elkader, died Tuesday. Visitation is Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home in Elkader.

Services for a Waverly man, 79-year-old David Birkholz, are Friday at 1 PM at Hauser-Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City, with burial at Riverside Cemetery, also in Charles City. Visitation is Friday from 11 AM until the start of services at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a Decorah woman, 76-year-old Beverly Whittle, will be held Saturday at 11 AM at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Decorah, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7 PM at Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and Saturday after 10 AM at the church.

Services for a Guttenberg man, 77-year-old James Kolker, are Monday at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, with burial at Guttenberg City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg and Monday one hour prior to the start of services at the church.

A West Union man, 90-year-old Donald "Andy" Vagt died August 7th. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 11 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Union. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the church. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.

Services for a Mankato, Minnesota, man, 85-year-old Verdus Kann, are Saturday at 11 AM at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Burial in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday one hour before services at the church.

A Calmar woman, 83-year-old Darlene Elsbernd, died April 30th of last year. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 11 AM at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
