A Delhi man, 74 year old Kenneth "Beep" Bernes, died July 27th. Services are Friday, August 27th at 3pm at St. Paul Lutheran church in Delaware.

Services for a Decorah woman, 91 year old Mary Manning, are Friday at 11am at St. Benedict's Catholic church in Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah, and an hour before services at the church.

A Protivin area woman, 82 year old Beverly Svestka, died Friday. Services are Tuesday at 11am at Holy Trinity Catholic church in Protivin. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 9am to 10:45am Tuesday at the church.

Services for a Manchester man, 64 year old Roger Letts, are Friday at 10am at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester. Burial in Oakland cemetery. Visitation is 2-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Services for an Elma woman, 80 year old Mathilda "Tillie" Havlik, are Saturday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Elma. Burial in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery at Lourdes. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma, with a scriptural Wake service at 7pm, and from 9am to 10:30am Saturday at the funeral home.

A Decorah woman, 78 year old Mary Ann Hill, died Sarturday. A visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7pm at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah. A graveside service will be Thursday at 2pm at Canoe Ridge Lutheran cemetery.

An Oelwein man, 93 year old Merle McFarlane, died Friday. Services are pending at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

Memorial services for a Charles City man, 62 year old Daniel "Dan" Howell, are Saturday at 11am at the Bridge church in Charles City. Visitation is from 9:30am until service time Saturday at the church. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

A Charles City woman, 72 year old Cheryl Biddle, died July 26th. There will be no funeral service. Burial will take place Saturday at 3pm at Riverside cemetery in Charles City. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 5pm at the VFW in Charles City. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is handling arrangements.

Services for a former Strawberry Point woman, 91 year old Elaine Waters of Manchester, are today, Monday, Aug 2nd at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic church in Strawberry Point. Burial in Strawberry Point cemetery. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington is assisting the family.

A Prairie du Chien man, 83 year old William "Bill" Benoy, died July 22nd. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 9th at 10am at Evergreen cemetery in Prairie du Chien. A celebration of life will follow at the Prairie du Chien Country Club. Thornburg Grau funeral home in Prairie du Chien is helping the family.

Services for a Marquette man, 72 year old Robert Hamann, are Friday at 11am at First Congregational United Church of Christ in McGregor. Inurnment in Pleasant Grove cemetery in McGregor. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Thornburg Grau funeral home in McGregor, and an hour before services at the church.

A Luana woman, 79 year old Gwen Eilers, died July 23rd. A graveside service wil be held Monday, August 9th at 11am at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Guttenberg. Memorial visitation is 3-5pm Sunday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona.

Services for a Waukon woman, 89 year old Margaret Herman, are Saturday at 11am at St. John's Lutheran church in Waukon. Burial in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30am until service time Saturday at the church. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

An Independence woman, 78 year old Helen Barske, died November 10th. A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 11:30am to 2:30pm at the VFW Hall in Independence.
