April 20 funeral announcements

A rural Coggon man, 95 year old Donald Main, died Saturday. Private family graveside services will be held at Spring Grove cemetery in rural Coggon. There will bee no public visitation or service. Fawcett Schmitz funeral home in Winthrop is assisting the family.

A Cedar Rapids man, 91 year old Robert Meader, formerly of the Strawberry Point, Delhi, and Manchester area, died Sunday. A private service and burial will be held, with a Celebration of Life to be planned for a later date. Leonard Muller funeral home is handling arrangements.

A Maynard man, 89 year old Leslie "Les" Cushion, died Saturday; a private service will be held at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Maynard, with private family inurnment in Long Grove cemetery in Maynard, with military honors. Friends and family may join the family on Wednesday at 1:30pm, via Facebook live, on the Jamison Schmitz funeral home Facebook page.

A Manchester man, 93 year old Lester Dingbaum, died Saturday; there will be a private family service and burial at this time. Arrangements are pending with Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.

An Oelwein man, 79 year old Elmer R. Pearson, died Saturday; a private family service will be held with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

A New Hampton woman, 82 year old Eloise M. Hines, died Sunday; Funeral arrangement are pending at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in New Hampton.

A Charles City woman, 83 year old Cheryl "Muggy" Sullivan, died Friday; A private family service will take place at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City, with burial at Riverside Cemetery, also in Charles City.

A Guttenberg man, 83 year old Burnell Glendor Duwe, died Friday; A private family service and interment is planned. Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg.

Graveside services for a Waukon resident, 85 year old Gwenn Bray, will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Waukon. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

An Independence man, 88 year old Felix H. Butters, died Thursday; Private family services will be held, but plans are being made for a public Memorial Mass at a later date. Burial in St. John's Cemetery in Independence. White Funeral Home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

An Elma man, 76 year old Thomas J. Flaherty, died Friday; Service arrangements are being made by Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma.

A rural Rowley woman, 65 year old Deborah J. Kress, died Wednesday; A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date when possible. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. White Funeral Home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

A Cresco woman, 88 year old Monica Reicks, died Saturday. Private family services will be held Tuesday. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Hindt Hudek funeral home in Cresco is assisting the family.

A Monona woman, 66 year old Sally Johanningmeier, formerly of Prairie du Chien, died Friday. A private service will be held in Monona. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is assisting the family.
