May 8 funeral announcements

Services for a Decorah resident, 91 year old Carroll Lansing, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Benedict Catholic church in Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 3-5pm Sunday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Shell Rock woman, 72 year old Janice Schmall, formerly of Ida Grove, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Waverly. Burial in St. Joseph cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Sunday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, with a 7pm scripture service.

An Osage woman, 90 year old Anne Birdsall, died Wednesday. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage is handling arrangements.
