A Nashua woman, 90 year old Louise Gersema, died Thursday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson chapel in Nashua.

Services for a Charles City woman, 54 year old Cheryl Vasut, are Tuesday at 11am at Hauser Funeral home in Charles City. Inurnment at a later date. Friends may call an hour before services.

Services for a Hawkeye woman, 86 year old Margaret Lalk, are Tuesday at 10am at First Baptist church in Sumner. Burial in Wilson Grove cemetery in rural Sumner. Friends may call 4-7pm Monday at Becker Milnes funeral home in Sumner and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Guttenberg woman, 77 year old Kay Jo Ries, are Monday at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic church in Guttenberg. Inurnment in the church cemetery. Friends may call 9-11am Monday at the church. Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg is handling arrangements.

A rural Stanley man, 76 year old Gene Berry, died Wednesday. There will be no public funeral. A visitation will be held Tuesday, 4-7pm at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein.
