Services for a former Oelwein woman, 92 year old Katherine Miller of Independence, are Friday at 10:30am at First Baptist church in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Prairie du Chien man, 67 year old Raymond "Junior" Shulka, are Friday at 11am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Prairie. Burial will be Saturday at 11am at Evergreen cemetery in Prairie, with full military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Prairie, and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Riceville teen, 17 year old Ryan Gaffey, are Saturday at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Elma. Burial in Howard Center cemetery. Visitation is 3:30-7pm Friday at Hindt Hudek funeral home in Riceville and an hour before services at the church.
