A former Elkader woman, 98 year old Helen Taylor of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, died May 14th; services are pending at Leonard funeral home in Elkader.

Services for an Elkader man, 92 year old Gerald Nesteby, are Thursday at 10:30am at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader. Burial with military honors in East side cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.

Services for a former New Hampton woman, 92 year old Elva Kahn of Charles City, are Tuesday at 10:30am at First Wesleyan church in Charles City. Burial in New Hampton cemetery at a a later date. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Conway Markham funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.

Services for an Aurora man, 87 year old Jim Kivell, are Friday at 10am at United Methodist church in Aurora. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein with military graveside rites. Visitation is 4:30-8pm Thursday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Ridgeway man, 75 year old Phil Ryan, are Saturday at 10am at Notre Dame Catholic church in Cresco. Burial in St. Agnes cemetery in rural Decorah.
