Services for a Clermont man, 76 year old Gordon "Gordie" Jacobson, are Saturday at 11am at Zion Lutheran church in West Union. Inurnment at a later date. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at the church. S.K. Rogers funeral home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a former Oelwein woman, 89 year old Frances McElree-Newton of Ames, are Friday at 10:30am at Peace Lutheran church in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein.
