March 8 funeral announcements

Memorial services for a Decorah man, 83 year old Manuel "Manny" Madrigal, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Benedict Catholic church in Decorah. Visitation is 5-7pm Wednesday at Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a West Union woman, 72 year old Sherryl "Sherry" Werhan, are Friday at 10:30am at S.K. Rogers and Burnham Wood funeral home in West Union. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the funeral home.

An Elma woman, 72 year old Dixie Kennedy, died Monday. There will be a private family service at a later date. Conway Markham funeral home in Elma is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial Services fo ra Charles City woman, 77 year old Karen Oeltjenbruns, are Wednesday at 2:30pm at Calvary Baptist church in Charles City. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Hauser funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for an Oelwein man, 95 year old Robert "Bob" Rechkemmer, are Saturday at 10:30am at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein, with military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday and an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

A Prairie du Chien woman, 73 year old Betty Kendall, died Sunday. No services are planned at this time. Thornburg Grau funeral home in Prairie du Chien is helping the family.

Services for a Cresco woman, 57 year old Rochel Buck, are Friday at 11am at First Congregational Church in Cresco. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Thursday at Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco and an hour before services at the church.

A Lime Springs woman, 86 year old Patricia "Patsy" Borgan, died Thursday; there will be no services. Lindstrom funeral home is assisting the family.

Services for a Charles City woman, 73 year old Gail Morris, are Thursday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church. Burial at 3pm at Wexford cemetery near Lansing. Visitation is 3-6pm Wednesday at Hauser funeral home in Charles City.
