June 27 funeral announcements

Services for an Elma resident, 87 year old Avis Roethler, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Elma. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Elma. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma with a Rosary at 4:30pm and a scriptural wake service at 7pm and visitation will continue at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 on the day of the service.

Services for a Charles City woman, 101 year old Lucille Bollman formerly of Strawberry Point, will be held at 11am on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City. Burial will be at Cass Township Cemetery in Strawberry Point at 3:30pm on Tuesday. Visitation will be held at the church in Charles City on Tuesday from 9:30 until the start of services at 11am.

A Masonville woman, 88 year old Esther Lechtenberg, passed away on Sunday. Arrangements are pending with Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester.

Services for a Manchester woman, 97 year old Mary "Bernita" Wilson, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester. Inurnment will be at the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Wednesday at 9am at the church. Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester is assisting the family.

Services for an Oelwein man, 69 year old Ronald "Jim" Fox, will be a graveside inurnment service at 10am on Wednesday at Floral Hill Memorial Garden in rural Oelwein. The service will be concluded with military graveside rites.

A Guttenberg man, 66 year old Jimmy Hansel, died Saturday. Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg where the family will receive friends from 2-7pm on Thursday. An inurnment will be at a later date.

A celebration of Life Service for a West Union woman, 45 year old Tina Marie Brown, will be held at 4-7pm on Thursday at Burnham-Wood and S.K. Rogers Funeral Home in West Union with a prayer service at 6pm.

Services for a Manchester girl, 13 year old Anna Mae Nefzger, will be held at 10am on Wedesnday at St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Delhi. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Tuesday at the church as well as an hour prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday.

Memorial Services for an Oelwein woman, 93 year old Viola Pirages, will be held at 11am on Friday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Thursday and after 10am on Friday at the funeral home.

A Celebration of life service for a Harpers Ferry woman, 82 year old Ruby Olson, will be held today at 11am at Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church in rural Waterville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9am until the time of services on Monday at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangments.

Services for a Decorah man, 99 year old Huber Lennon, will be held at 3pm on Wednesday at the Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah. Visitation will be held at 2pm at the funeral home.

Services for a Chester woman, 63 year old Deborah "Deb" Lewis, will be held at 10:30am today at Cresco Community Chapel. Burial will be held in Saratoga Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the time of service at the church.

Services for a Praire du Chien woman, 98 year old Lucille Frances Carnicle, will be held at 11am today (Monday) at the Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien with one hour visitation before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery on McGregor.

Graveside inurnment services for a Little Cedar woman, 79 year old Dixie Abben, are Wednesday at 11am at Liberty cemetery in Little Cedar. A celebration of life service, lunch and fellowship, will follow at the Osage VFW.
