July 8 funeral announcements

Services for a West Des Moines resident, 85 year old Bartley Needham formerly of Waukon, will be held on Monday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon. Burial will be in St. Mary's Lycurgus Cemetery in Waukon. Friends may call from 3-7pm on Sunday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon where there will be a 2:45pm scripture service.

Services for an Oelwein man, 100 year old James Vincent Vawter, will be at 11am on Saturday at Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein. Visitation will be from 9am to service time at 11am. Burial will be in the Wadena Cemetery.

Memorial services for a Calmar man, 91 year old Fred Boettcher, are Thursday at 11am at Calmar Lutheran church. Burial in the Hawkeye City cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Wednesday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah and an hour before services at the church.
