A Fredericksburg woman, 97 year old Eva Mae Niewoehner, died Wednesday; services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Fredericksburg.

Memorial services for a former Denver resident, Lavern "Vern" Wittenburg of New Ulm, Minnesota, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Denver. Visitation is 6-8pm Friday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver.

Services for an Elkader man, 82 year old Charles Klingman, are Saturday at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran church in Volga. Burial in Taylorsville cemetery in rural Arlington with military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Leonard funeral home in Elkader and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Waverly woman, 98 year old Eleanor Fitzpatrick, are Saturday at 10am at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Burial in St. Mary Catholic cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the funeral home.

Services for a Rowley man, 91 year old Mahlon Olsen, are Saturday at 10:30am at Reiff funeral home in Independence. Burial in Quasqueton cemetery. Friends may call 4-8pm Friday and 8am until services Saturday at the funeral home.

Services for a Charles City man, 82 year old Alfred Mohring, are Monday at 11am at Hauser funeral home in Charles City. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens. Visitation is 9:30am until service time Monday at the funeral home.
