Services for a Decorah man, 87 year old Elwood Syverson, are Friday at 2pm at Springfield Lutheran church in rural Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is 2 hours before services Friday at the church. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is serving the family.

Services for a Monona resident, 95 year old Noraline Lamborn, are Wednesday at 3pm at Living Faith United Methodist parish in Monona. Burial in Luana cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Tuesday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Wadena man, 92 year old Richard Parler, are Thursday at 10am at Stanley Union church. Burial with military rites at 2pm Thursday at Wadena cemetery. Visitation is 5-8pm Wednesday at the church and an hour before services. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is helping the family.

Services for a Waverly resident, 99 year old Fern Noel, are Monday, Aug. 6th at 10:30am at Trinity United Methodist church in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Sunday (Aug. 5) at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly.

Services for a Waukon woman, 96 year old Ursula Quanrude, are Tuesday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic church in Waukon. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Monday at Martin funeral home in Waukon, with a 3:30pm scripture service.

Services for a Cresco woman, 89 year old Marjorie Gunderson, are Monday at 11am at First Lutheran church in Cresco. Burial in Oak Lawn cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Staceyville man, 73 year old Ronald "Ron" Mayer, are Saturday at 1pm at Visitation Catholic church in Staceyville, with military honors. Friends may call after the inurnment in the church basement.

An Oelwein woman, Jeannine Paschal, died Thursday; a visitation will be held today (Monday) from 10am to 11am, with services to follow, at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

Services for a former Independence man, 83 year old Nathan Bly of Oelwein, will be held Wednesday at First Methodist church in Independence. Visitation will start at 10am, with services to follow at 10:30am.

Services for a Lansing man, 91 year old Kenneth Heeren, are Wednesday at 11am at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Tuesday at the funeral home, and an hour before services.
