July 28 funeral announcements

Services for an Allison woman, 56 year old Debra Diesburg, will be held at 11am on Friday at Hugeback-Johnson funeral home in Nashua. Interment will be in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Nashua. Friends may greet the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Services for a Postville woman, 77 year old Sharon Miene, will be held on Saturday at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. Burial will be in Postville Cemetery. Friends may call form 3-7pm on Friday at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangements.

Wilma Anderson, 98, formerly of Postville and Oelwein, passed away on Wednesday at a Minnesota care center.  Arrangements are pending with Schutte-Grau Funeral Home in Postville.

A Randalia man died Wednesday morning at his home; services for 69 year old Keith Bruns are pending at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Maynard.

Services for a Manchester woman, 82 year old Esther Helle, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 2-7pm Sunday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester with a 2pm scripture service, and 9-10am Monday at the funeral home.

Services for an Elkader resident, 85 year old Iva Wilker, are Friday at 2pm at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader. burial in East Side cemetery. Visitation is 2 hours before services at the church. Leonard funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

Services for an Osage man, 78 year old Dean Dishinger, are Monday at 11am at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage. Burial with military honors in Calvary cemetery in Riceville. Visitation is 3-5pm Sunday at the funeral home.
