July 26 funeral announcements

Services for an Elgin man, 100 year old Harold Halverson, will be held at 10:30am on Friday at Elgin Lutheran Church. Burial with military rites will follow at God's Acres in Clermont. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-7pm at the Elgin Lutheran Church and one hour before services on Friday.

Services for a Plainfield man, 74 year old Richard Fredrick Kleinschmidt, will be held at 11am on Thursday at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Waverly. Burial will follow at Harlington Cemetery in Waverly. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly where the family will greet friends from 4-8pm.

An Allison woman, 59 year old Debra S. Diesburg, passed away on Monday. Arrangements are pending at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in Nashua.

Services for a Cresco resident, 94 year old Geneva Becker, will be held at 10:30am on Saturday at Notre Dame Parish in Cresco. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Cresco. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Cresco with a rosary at 7:30pm and a scripture service at 8pm. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the time of service Saturday at the church.

A New Hampton woman, 76 year old Evelyn Kahn, passed away on Monday. Funeral arrangements are pending at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton.

Services for a Nashua man, 76 year old James Robert Keeran, will be held at 11am on Thursday at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly. Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo.

Services for a Charles City woman, 75 year old Diana Temple Engelhardt, will be held from 5-7pm on Saturday at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City with a 6:30pm prayer service.

Memorial Services for a West Union woman, 91 year old Arlene S. Dahlen, will be held at 11am on Thursday at Jerico Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jerico. Visitation will be held at the church an hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Jerico Cemetery.

Services for a Charles City man, 78 year old Virgil Sorenson will be held at 10:30am on Thursday at Messiah Lutheran Church in Charles City. Burial will be at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City. Visitation will be at Hauser Funeral Home from 5-7pm on Wednesday and will continue an hour prior to the services at the church in Thursday.
