Services for an Independence man, 93 year old Jack Swarts, are Thursday at 1:30pm at Reiff funeral home in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for a Monona woman, 87 year old Eleanor Ryan, are Friday at 10am at St. Patrick Catholic church in Monona.  Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is helping the family.

A West Union woman, 68 year old Geraldine Cox, died Sunday. Private family graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein. Floral Hills Memorial Gardens and funeral home is assisting the family.

A Charles City man, 63 year old Michael Damjanovic, died Sunday. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hauser funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

A Charles City man, 76 year old Larry "Shorty" Kay, died Monday. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 16th, from 2pm to 4pm at the VFW in Charles City.

A rural Dundee man died Monday at his home; services for 57 year old Randy Kelchen are pending at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.

Services for a Cresco woman, 87 year old Virginia Turvold, are Friday at 11am at First Lutheran church in Cresco. Burial in Oak Lawn cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Lindstrom funeral home is assisting the family.
