Sept. 18 funeral announcements

A Decorah woman, 91 year old Dorothy Halverson, died Wednesday. Private family funeral services will be held at Washington Prairie Lutheran church in rural Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is serving the family.

Services for a Decorah woman, 90 year old Wilma Morse, are Tuesday at 11am at Decorah Lutheran church. Burial in Lutheran cemetery. Visitation is an hour before the service at the church. Fjelstul funeral home is serving the family.

An Independence woman, 84 year old Barbara Siggelkov, died April 25th. There will be a celebration of life- potluck on Saturday, September 26th from 4pm to 6pm at the 3rd ward Park on the southwest side of Independence. White funeral home in Independence is in charge of arrangements

An Orchard man, 83 year old Thomas "Tom" Kennison, died Wednesday. A private family graveside service will be held at the Howardville cemetery near Floyd. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Postville woman, 85 year old Beulah Fadness, are Monday at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran church Fellowship Hall in Postville. Burial in Frankville cemetery. Visitation is 2 hours before the service at the church. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is helping the family.
