Sept. 11 funeral announcements

Services for a Hazleton man, 55 year old Gilbert "Gil" McBride, are Tuesday at 4pm at White funeral home in Independence. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery in Oelwein. Friends may call after 10am Tuesday at the funeral home.

A Strawberry Point man, 95 year old Bruce Hamlett, died Wednesday. A private family funeral service will be held at Community Bible church in Strawberry Point. Burial with military rites in Edgewood cemetery. Leonard Muller funeral home is handling the arrangements.
