An Independence woman, 78 year old Helen Barske, died Tuesday. Private services will be held at St. John's Catholic church in Independence.

A Colesburg man, 74 year old Francis "Frank" "Fritz" Clemen, died Thursday. A private family memorial service will be held. Public Inurnment with military rites are Friday, November 20th, at St. Patrick Catholic cemetery in Colesburg. Leonard Muller funeral home in Edgewood is in charge of arrangements.

A Charles City man, 85 year old Merlin Holtz, died Wednesday. A private family service will be held at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City. It will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook page at 11am Tuesday. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City.

A former Alta Vista woman, 83 year old Donna May Kolbet of Osage, died Wednesday. A visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday (today) at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma. A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, with burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery in Alta Vista.

An Independence man, 54 year old Lorne Lee, died Tuesday. A private family graveside service will be held Monday at Mt. Hope cemetery in Independence. Visitation is 4-7pm Saturday and 1-5pm Sunday at White funeral home in Independence.

A Decorah man, 72 year old Joseph Henry, died Wednesday. A private family service will be held at St. Benedict Catholic church, burial in the church cemetery. Schluter Balik funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

An Edgewood man, 94 year old Gerald Perrinjaquet, died Thursday. A private family memorial service will be held Monday at the Edgewood Methodist church. Leonard Muller funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
