May 17 funeral announcements

A community service will be held for Baby Sterling, who died August 30th of 2017 in Alta Vista. The services will be held Saturday, June 8th at 10am at the Alta Vista Municipal Hall. Burial in Zion cemetery. All are welcome, with donations going to the Chickasaw County Child Abuse Prevention Council in New Hampton.

Services for a Nashua man, 89 year old Ronald McGregor, are Tuesday at 10:30am at United Methodist church in Nashua. Burial in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call 4-8pm Monday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua, and an hour before services at the church.

A Prayer service for a Waverly man, 63 year old Steven Kazda, will be held Tuesday at 7pm at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Burial at a later date. Visitation is 5-7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

A Waverly woman, 100 year old Margaret Kemming, died Tuesday; there will be a private service followed by burial in Harlington cemetery in Waverly. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly is assisting the family.

Services for a Wexford man, 84 year old James "Jim" Hawes, are Monday at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Wexford. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-6pm Sunday at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing, and an hour before services at the church.
