July 24 funeral announcements

A New Hampton man, 71 year old Dennis Buckendahl, died Wednesday. A private memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30th at 10:30am at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton. A public graveside service will be Thursday at 11:45am at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery in New Hampton. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.

An Oelwein man, 84 year old Robert Morris, died June 17th. There will be private family services. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

A Janesville woman, 67 year old Joan "Jo" Powelka, died Tuesday. There are no formal services scheduled at this time. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly is handling arrangements.

Services for a New Hampton woman have been postponed for a second time, due to the pandemic. 88 year old Sue Schueth died May 31. The service had been set for July 31st, but now has been postponed to a later date. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is handling the arrangements.

A Fredericksburg man, 66 year old Jody "Joe" Erb, died May 2nd. Memorial services are Saturday, August 1st at 5pm at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton. Private family burial is at a later date. Public visitation is an hour before the service.

A New Hampton man, 75 year old Jerry Rochford, died March 24. Public graveside services will be held Friday, July 31st at 3pm at Calvary cemetery in New Hampton. A celebration of life will follow, from 4-8pm at the Rochford family farm. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.
