Memorial services for a Masonville man, 77 year old Charles "Chuck" Savago, are Tuesday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Masonville. Burial in St. Mary Catholic cemetery in Masonville. Visitation is 5-7pm Monday at Fawcett Schmitz funeral home in Winthrop with a scripture service at 4:30pm, and an hour before services at the church.

A former New Hampton man, 65 year old William "Bill" Sargeant of Waterloo, died Thursday. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Garnavillo man, 91 year old Henry Mueller, are Monday at 11am at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Garnavillo. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11am Monday at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Garnavillo.

Services for an Edgewood man, 86 year old James Funke, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Mark Catholic church in Edgewood. Burial with military rites in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery in Greeley. Visitation is 3-6pm Sunday at the church, with a 6pm scripture service, and 9:30am to 10:15am Monday at the church. Leonard Muller funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

A New Hampton man, 80 year old Thomas Towlerton, died Thursday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

Services for an Oelwein man, 64 year old Brian Ferris, are Monday at 10:30am at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 3-7pm Sunday and an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

A former Fredericksburg woman, 93 year old Lois Ellison of Clarinda, died Wednesday. Public Graveside services are Tuesday at 6pm at Rose Hill cemetery in Fredericksburg. Friends may call 3-5:30pm Tuesday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Fredericksburg.

A Coggon woman, 87 year old Betty Mae Klima, died Tuesday. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Coggon cemetery. Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester is assisting the family.

A former Nashua man, 94 year old Harry McKenzie of Denver, Colorado, died Tuesday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua.

Memorial services for a Cedar Rapids woman, 83 year old Mary Ellen Vifian, are Friday at 11am at St. Mark's Methodist church in Cedar Rapids. Inurnment in Linwood cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Visitation is 9am to 10:45am Friday at the church. Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service for a Postville man, 66 year old Richard Farrington, will be held Saturday at 7pm at Postville cemetery, with military honors. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is handling arrangements.

Services for a former Sumner man, 55 year old Dan Yungtum of Dunkerton, are Monday at 10:30am at St. John Lutheran church in Sumner. Burial in the church cemetery in rural Sumner. Visitation is 2-6pm Sunday at the church, and an hour before services on Monday.
