February 28 funeral announcements

A former Independence woman, 91 year old Marlys Mae Templeton of Clear Lake, died February 21st. Memorial and O.E.S. services will be held Saturday, March 14th at 11am at White Funeral home in Independence. A Celebration of Life will follow at St. James Episcopal church in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.

An Independence woman, 54 year old Hazel Mason, died February 24th. Memorial services will be held at a later date. White funeral home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Waverly man, 87 year old James "Jim" Wheeler, are Saturday, March 7th at 10:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran church and School in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday, March 6th at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.
