Aug. 28 funeral announcements

A New Hampton woman, 71 year old Wanda Batchelder, died Wednesday. A private family graveside service will be held in Cass Township cemetery in Strawberry Point. Leonard Muller funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

A Monona man, 72 year old Alan Coleman, died Wednesday. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is assisting the family.

An Independence woman, 81 year old Shirley Arnold, died Thursday. A private family memorial service will be held at Fawcett Schmitz funeral home in Winthrop. Inurnment in Fremont Township cemetery. Public visitation is 3-6pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial services for a Waukon man, 77 year old Lyle Dee, will be Tuesday at 11am at Zion United church of Christ in Waukon. Visitation is from 9am until service time Tuesday at the church. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.
