Aug. 21 funeral announcements

A New Hampton man, 94 year old Gordon Speltz, died Wednesday. A private service will be held Saturday at 10am at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton. Burial in St. Mary's cemetery in New Hampton with military honors. There will be no public visitation. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is handling the arrangements.

Services for an Independence man, 85 year old Otto "Junior" Eschen Jr., are Tuesday at 10:30am at White funeral home in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Monday at the funeral home.
