An Independence woman, 74 year old Sandra "Sandy" Gibbs, died Thursday. Services are pending at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

A West Union man, 78 year old Clarion Johnson, died Tuesday. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Burnham Wood Grau funeral home in West Union is assisting the family.

Memorial services for a Lamont woman, 92 year old Dorothy "Dot" Linderwell, are Wednesday (Aug. 18) at 1pm at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester. Private family inurnment at Campton/Oak Hill cemetery in Lamont. Fellowship time will be 1:30-3:30pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for a Maynard man, 60 year old Gary "Cuda" Fink, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Paul Lutheran church in Maynard. Burial in Long Grove cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Sunday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Maynard and an hour before services at the church.

A celebration of life for a former Marble Rock woman, 86 year old Rachel Vincent of Sumner, are Monday at 3pm at Hillcrest Chapel in Sumner. Visitation is an hour before services at the chapel. Becker and Son funeral home in Sumner is assisting the family.

Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception at Living Waters church in Independence. Visitation is 2-5pm Sunday and an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

Services for a Guttenberg woman, 81 year old Laura Wille, are Tuesday at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic church in Guttenberg. Burial in Mt. Olivet Catholic cemetery in Guttenberg. Friends may call 3-8pm Monday at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg, and an hour before the service at the church.

Services for an Oelwein woman, 98 year old Janetta Schellhorn, are Monday at 10:30am at Zion Lutheran church in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4-7pm Sunday at Geilenfeld Buehner funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a Waverly man, 57 year old Scott Brandt, are Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran church and School in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Monday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.

A Cedar Falls woman, 46 year old Kadene Donlon, died August 9th. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10:30am at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar Falls. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Kaiser Corson funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Fort Atkinson woman, 77 year old Janette Meyer, are Saturday at 11am at St. John's Catholic church in Fort Atkinson. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-6pm Friday and an hour before services Saturday at Schluter Balik funeral home, Chekal Chapel in Fort Atkinson.

A former Cresco man, 62 year old Kenton "Kent" Egen of Rochester, Minnesota, died Sunday. A public visitation will be held Sunday from 11am to 1pm at Hindt Hudek funeral home in Cresco, followed by a memorial service at 1pm. A celebration of life will continue at the Cresco Wildlife Building on the Howard County Fairgrounds in Cresco.
