April 17 funeral announcements

An Oelwein man, 55 year old Danny Robinson, died Wednesday. A private family graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

A former Nashua resident, 73 year old Marlys "Marty" Brunsvold of Davenport, died Wednesday. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel is handling the arrangements.

A New Hampton man, 70 year old Patrick Folkers, died Monday. A private funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30am at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton. The service will be available for public viewing on the Hugeback Johnson funeral homes Facebook page. Burial at a later date in the New Hampton City cemetery. A private family visitation will be held Sunday.

A former Clermont woman, 88 year old Lavonne Nelson of Decorah, died Tuesday. There will be no public memorial at this time. Schutte Grau funeral home in Clermont is assisting the family.
