Services for a Guttenberg woman, 78 year old Carol Jacobs, are Friday at 10am at the United Methodist church. Burial in Guttenberg city cemetery. Friends may call 4-6pm Thursday at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg and an hour before services at the church.

A Denver man, 85 year old Romayne Coontz, died early Tuesday at his home. There will be no formal visitation or services. Fellowship and memories will be shared Saturday, 1-4pm at his home.

A Charles City resident, 73 year old Nola Kerulis, died Tuesday at a Texas hospital. Services are pending at Hauser funeral home in Charles City.

Services for an Elma woman, 99 year old Frances Dempsey, are Monday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception church in Elma. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Sunday at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma with a 6pm scriptural wake, and an hour before services at the funeral home.

Services for a Decorah woman, 91 year old Dorothy Wiemerslage, are Saturday at 11am at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Decorah. Burial in Wheatland cemetery in New Albin. Friends may call 3-7pm Friday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Independence woman, 76 year old Lois Hermsen, are Friday at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 2-8pm Thursday and 8-10am Friday at Reiff funeral home in Independence, with a 3pm rosary and 7pm parish vigil service on Thursday.
