A Riceville man, 56 year old Thomas Selvig, died Sunday; a visitation will be held 4-7pm Thursday at Lindstrom funeral home in Riceville, with burial at a later date.

Services for an Elkader woman, 81 year old Marilyn Bergan, are Thursday at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic church in Elkader. Inurnment in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at the church, with a 7pm scripture service. Leonard funeral home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Waverly man, 76 year old Gerald "Jerry" Kreger are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic church in Waverly. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly with a 4pm rosary and 7pm scripture service.

Services for a Tripoli man, 78 year old Thomas Merrick, are Friday at 10:30am at St. John's Lutheran church-Western Douglas in rural Plainfield. Burial in Garden of Memories cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation is 5-8pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.

A Cedar Falls man, 83 year old Robert Franklin, died Sunday. Burial of Cremains will take place Monday, Dec. 14th at 11am at Fairview cemetery in Denver. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Postville woman 84 year old Marilyn Curnow, are Friday at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran church in Postville. Burial in Postville cemetery. Vistitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville and an hour before services at the church.
