Services for an Oelwein man, 74 year old Lawrence A. Christensen, will be at 2:30pm on Saturday, December 12th, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. Visitation will be 1:30pm - 2:30pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Oelwein.

Services for a Manchester woman, 80 year old Virginia Elizabeth Sweet, will be at 10:30am on Saturday, December 12th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ryan. Interment is at Calvary Cemetery in Ryan. Visitation is from 3-7pm on Friday the 11th at Leonard-muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Scripture Service at 3pm at the Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to Mass at the church on Saturday.

Services for a Westgate resident, 76 year old Lyle H. Buehler, will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, December 12th, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Westgate. Interment will be at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Westgate, Visitation is 3-8pm on Friday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Maynard and for one hour prior before the service on Saturday at the church.

Services for a Readlyn man, 63 year old Thomas Allen Cozart, will be held on Monday,December 14th, at 11am at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Readlyn. Burial will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7pm at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Readlyn.

Services for a Sumner man, formerly of Hawkeye, 90 year old Douglas Grahlman are Saturday, 11am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sumner. Burial in Bethel Cemetery, rural Hawkeye with military rites by Thomas E Woods, Post #223, American Legion of Sumner. Visitation is Friday, 4-7pm at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, Sumner with a Rosary at 4pm. Visitation continues one hour prior to services at the church.

Services for a former Guttenberg man, 58 year old Mark Czarnecki of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin are Saturday, 10:30 at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, burial at a later date in the Guttenberg City Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 5-8pm at the funeral home.

Services for an Independence man, 57 year old Jeffery Simmons are Saturday, 10:30 at White Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation is Friday, 2-7 at the funeral home with a Rosary at 6pm.
